Devil(e)'s Haircut

Roki has a brand spanking new haircut - his second in almost two years - and he is now ready for a sweaty Japanese summer of Lego and singing

Cousin Chou Chou

Hiroki really likes watching videos of his cousin, Elliot and can't wait to see him again this summer.

The Running man

Roki's after dinner ritual is now to run lengths of the apartment until he is dripping with sweat and ready for his bath.
Takes all sorts...

Natsu Matsuri

`Roki's nursery school held a Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival) today so all the kids were dressed up in a Happi coat and paraded around the school to the sound of Japanese pipes and drums. It was nice to meet other parents and a relief to find that by the end, Roki wasn't the only kid who was tired and hungry.

This Summer

The weather here in Japan is really starting to get hot and humid so Roki is cultivating his Sweaty Head look which he sported last year. Could be time to take him for another haircut.

Spaghetti Eastern

Just like his Daddy, Roki has figured out at an early age that there is no substitute for using fingers and face rather than cutlery for eating pasta. Note also how (by careful choice of wardrobe) he has managed to recreate the role of Bruce Willis' John Mc Clane from the Die Hard movie franchise.
YIPPEE - KI - YAY!!!!!

Hush

Roki likes to put all (and I mean ALL) his soft toys to bed before he goes to school so that they have enough energy to keep up with him when he returns.

High Tension Baby!

Slip Slidin' Away

Roki had fun with Mummy at the park, playing on the slides.

He can climb the stairs without any help

He wiped out later on but at least was able to show everyone his Oliver Hardy impersonation.

Kan Kan Suki!!

Roki Really likes watching Trains at the crossing.
